Forest Environment Project
Process:
Each asset was modelled and mapped in Autodesk Maya, before using Adobe Photoshop to hand paint each texture to give a more stylized look to the project. I created the landscape in Blender, and used particle systems for more repetitive assets such as grass and rocks, and assembled all of the completed plant models to create the environment, as well as adding lighting and atmosphere. I also utilized matte painting techniques for the far background to create depth without needing to use additional 3D assets.
